Traditional Polish Wafers

INGREDIENTS:
1 pack of plain wafers *find them in a  Polish store/deli*

4 cans of condensed milk

DIRECTIONS:

Put 4 cans of milk into a big pan and make sure the water level is above the cans. Bring to a boil for 3-4 hours. Take cans out (watch your hands it’s going to be very hot) and put into an ice bath for around 20 minutes. The cans should be slightly warm. Put down 1 wafer and fully cover it with either *filling 1 or filling 2*.  On top of the filling apply another wafer. Keep alternating with filling and wafer until you run out of wafers. The Top should end with a wafer. Take the heaviest books you can find and stack them on top of the wafers overnight. Cut into desired squares and eat away!

*Filling 1- The condensed milk after it is boiled.

Filling 2- Take all the condensed milk and it put into a large bowl. Add 4 tablespoons of cocoa and keep stirring until well mixed.*
